The Extraordinary Power of Potential
According to the Oxford English Dictionary, the word potential has the following meanings:
- Adjective. Having or showing the capacity to develop into something in the future.
- Noun. Latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future success of usefulness.
It is the adjective version of the word that truly resonates with me as I prepare this update:
Having or showing the capacity to develop into something in the future
In all honesty, this is precisely how I would describe the situation across all my businesses right now.
Each business actively shows its incredible, powerful, and extraordinary potential. I couldn't be more excited.
TradeOxy
After several months and rounds of feedback and design, TradeOxy is finally getting back on track. The extended break was necessary as we sorted out our internal project management practices, fixed up our revenue generation, and redesigned the user experience from the ground up.
I definitely appreciate the patience from our Beta testers as we worked through this β€οΈ
A Massive TradeOxy User Experience Update
The first exciting update concerns the TradeOxy User Experience. After a couple of months of testing and measuring our systems, we wanted to rebuild our user experience to fully capitalize on TradeOxy's exceptional speed, accuracy, and asset diversity - without losing our laser focus on simplicity.
The new user experience we've designed achieves all of our objectives.
From the very first moment you log into our platform, you are presented with the ability to search through our entire range of scanners and indicators. It's incredibly simple, fast, and intuitive.
- Keen to see what alerts have fired for Bitcoin? You can search that in seconds.
- Interested in an overview of an asset class? 2 clicks and you're in.
We estimate there is a 10-15 click difference in the time it takes for our customers to retrieve useful information from the platform, and it is significantly simpler.
If you want to see Figma design of the updated User Experience in action, check out the Figma below. Note that the comment 'Edited 4 months ago' is when the design started...not when we last edited it π

A Huge TradeOxy Functionality Update: Alerting
Fast, effective alerting has always been part of TradeOxy's roadmap, and we're pleased to announce that this functionality has entered its final testing phase.
Not only has this been the #1 feature request from our Beta testers, we also feel it is a critical component to growing the use of our platform over the long-haul. We anticipate this feature entering into production in the next two weeks, and when the feature is released, we will cover the following platforms:
- Discord
- Telegram
- Slack
We're already starting to shortlist other alerting channels we're interested in for our next round of alerting, but if you've got some thoughts, drop us an email at info@tradeoxy.com
Catalyst Group Solutions
Catalyst Group Solutions has been going absolutely gangbusters with our clients lately. One of our major projects, using an integrated AI to hyper-personalize the results of an assessment for a client, is only weeks away from launching.
The project is the most powerful and innovative way of effectively using AI I've ever seen, and it's a compelling use case.
As the lead developer in the AI component, I've certainly felt the stretch as we've set out to solve some of the emerging challenges with AI. That said, with the first stage of the project nearly at release, we've already started planning for the next 2 stages with our client. It's safe to say that AI will feature more and more heavily!
ChatBotMe
As our AI expertise has widened and deepened, we've developed an internal demo of a new product we'll release to the market in the next few weeks. We've provisionally called it ChatBotMe.
ChatBotMe allows creators and organizations to massively improve their ability to interact with their customers.
In its current format, it allows a creator or organization to train an AI on their content, and then provide contextual answers to users based on their queries. What's really cool about it is that we can synchronize the content with releases through blogs or YouTube videos so that the information is always up-to-date with the latest releases from a content creator.
For customers of the product, it:
- Saves money spent on having humans monitor a chat channel
- Provides insight into the questions being asked (which might inform future product releases or content created)
- Is always on, and always improving
For customers of our customers, it:
- Provides an intermediate step between customer support and queries
- Delivers significantly more contextually accurate responses to queries than other systems we've used
- Can often answer questions faster than talking to a person
Also, it doesn't hallucinate. Lol.
Where this can become truly powerful is when you provide it with content that is not freely available anywhere else - allowing you to deliver hyper-personalized and helpful answers to your customers on the fly.
If you want to check out the internal demo, you can do so here:
A couple of notes so you can test it:
- The demo is trained to use a series of 5 blogs from my own content.
- The blogs are on a very specific topic - how to build a MetaTrader 5 Trading Bot
If you want to see it in action, try to break it by asking non-content related questions!
Content Creation
The past few weeks have seen a massive shift in my content creation efforts and outcomes, and has consumed a huge amount of my time.
Goodbye Medium, Hello Ghost
I've finally said goodbye to the Medium blogging platform. I published my first article on Medium back in 2015, so it was a hard decision to make, but ultimately, I think it was for the best.
I've got nothing but fond memories of Medium, but the last few months have shown me that if I truly want to take my content creation to the next level, I need to own more of my tech stack.
After much debate and research, I decided to go with Ghost for my blogging. I love the themes and design, but probably more than anything, Ghost gives me the ability to become more and more independent. This is precious for me as the internet changes in nature.
For instance, training ChatBotMe on my blog posts is significantly easier with Ghost - and I can fully gate the content as needed to keep away the definitely-not-illegal-or-against-the-spirit-of-the-internet AI crawlers that about everywhere (but refuse to pay for it).
It's been a huge effort, and I've still got 103 blog posts to review, but well worth it.
YouTube Three Times a Week
The next huge change to my efforts has been a sustained effort to publish something on YouTube three times a week.
It took me quite a while to find the right team to do this, but I finally feel like we're getting there. The quality of the videos has been improving week-in, week-out, and we're definitely getting into a good flow now!
We will soon expand our content production to include shorts and Reels, which I'm pretty excited about.
The effort is paying off as well. All of my metrics are up nearly 30% month-on-month which is just huge, and every week I'm hitting new records in terms of hours watched, views, and new subscribers.
If the team and I can keep this up for the next 12 months or so, we should have a very powerful and effective way to keep building out the dream we have.
You can check out the channel and my ongoing progress here:
Conclusion
As you can see from my update, there's a huge amount of potential across all my endeavours.
From TradeOxy soon to be releasing it's brand new User Experience and alerting, through to Catalyst Group Solutions new product ChatBotMe, the future has never been brighter.
